About
We offer supportive, substance-free accommodations for individuals 19+ seeking to change their relationship with substances. The program provides up to 6 months of stay with weekly sessions, daily group programming, and optional recreational activities. It is designed for self-motivated individuals with prior recovery experience who are committed to abstaining from non-prescribed substances. Since 2017, we have focused on holistic, trauma-informed care, and a harm-reduction approach, offering support for those who experience relapse to re-engage with their recovery.

8 bedrooms across 2 sites. Clients can stay for up to 6 months.

Weekly 1:1 therapy sessions.

Peer volunteer/aftercare program for graduates.

Focus:

Second-stage treatment: Maintaining abstinence, addressing unresolved issues, building recovery networks, and rebuilding life post-substance use.

Ideal for clients who have lost structure (e.g., housing, work, relationships) due to prolonged substance use and are ready for rebuilding.

Eligibility:

Must be from the Kootenay Boundary or East Kootenay region.

Must have a significant period of abstinence and be actively engaged in recovery.

Clients should be medically and mentally stable, independent with daily living, and suitable for communal living.

Previous detox and first-stage residential treatment are common before entering.

Program Policies:

No pets allowed.
-
Vehicle use is restricted unless special permission is granted.

Staff approval required for on-site guests, overnight stays, and out-of-town trips.

Random urine screens and room searches.
-
Clients may hold jobs, as long as it doesn't interfere with program commitments.

Cost:

$529 rent + $300 damage deposit.

Payment can be from ministry funding or other income sources.
